Licensing and manufacturing e-commerce retailer Mighty Mojo Toys is collaborating with Clifford the Big Red Dog film and Scholastic Entertainment to develop and produce a series of plush toys based on the upcoming live-action feature film that Paramount Pictures will release on November 10th , 2021. The film stars Darby Camp, Jack Whitehall, Kenan Thompson, Rossi Perez and John Chris.
The first book of Clifford the Red Dog by creator and writer Norman Bridwell was published by Scholastic more than 50 years ago. Clifford and Emily Elizabeth have appeared in numerous books, TV series and children's video games-this live-action feature film will introduce canine characters to a new generation.
Clifford the Big Red Dog will join Mighty Mojo Toys' various plush products, including authorized products such as Arthur, Booba, and Super Why.
The transaction was facilitated by Jessica Gavin of Gavin Hoss Group Ltd. She said: “Mighty Mojo is the perfect partner of Scholastic, it brings the magic of the live-action Clifford to new and old fans. There is an opportunity to directly face consumers through them. To tell the story of this franchise with rich experience in online products, it will expand and deepen the experience of this major movie event in a meaningful way."
