Meet the newest 19th mascot of Yale University, the English Bulldog, the handsome Dan XIX. Just looking at this cute bull dog face, I fell in love with it. When his owner was born on January 2, 2021, HD was named Kingman before he was named the new mascot of Yale University.

According to news.yale.edu, the Bulldog has represented Yale University since 1890 and became the first live animal university mascot. Kassandra "Kassie" Haro '18, a staff member of the Yale University Visitor Center, will assume the role of HD handler. She will take care of, train and socialize, coordinate and participate in his public appearances, and manage his digital image.

18 different bulldogs won the title of Yale Mascot. The handsome Dan appeared in the college fundraising event and is one of the most compelling and engaged members of the Yale University community. The following YouTube video was shot in March 2021, when he was still a puppy.
