Rochester City Council is not yet ready to vote on the Castle Theatre

Rochester, Minnesota (KROC AM News)-The Rochester City Council has decided to revisit the issue of the castle theater operator at a future meeting.

The committee is scheduled to vote on the staff's proposal on Monday night, which involves reaching an agreement with Threshold Arts to operate this historic downtown building. The council made recommendations.

The council did approve the salary increase for all members and the mayor.

The mayor’s salary will increase to nearly 84,000 U.S. dollars, the chairman of the council will receive 64,000 U.S. dollars, and the other council members will receive 56,000 U.S. dollars.

Members of Parliament Campion and Palmer voted against the motion.
